On Monday, 2 December 2024, Mr. Soranai Lertaksorn, Executive Vice President, Gas Separation, PTT Public Company Limited, and Mr. Arthit Teepakornsukkasem, Managing Director of Chonburi Concrete Product PCL (CCP), signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Sai Nam Phueng meeting room, Chaloem Phra Kiat Building, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Herb Garden, Rayong.
The MOU aims to promote cooperation in developing concrete products that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, using an innovation that converts carbon dioxide into a useful input in the concrete curing process, under the product named “G-Block”, which helps reduce CO₂ emissions.
The product is already used as a walkway paving material in the Herb Garden, with plans to extend its use to the wider construction industry in support of Thailand’s sustainable development goals.
The signing reflects both organizations’ commitment to developing innovation for environmental sustainability and to raising the standard of Thailand’s construction industry toward a low-carbon society.
