CCP precast U-ditches are factory-made under quality control in CCP standard widths of 10–360 cm, and extra-large sizes can be made to project drawings. They are certified "Made in Thailand" (MiT) for use in government procurement, and the company holds Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) certification. Sizes 25, 80, 100, 120 and 150 cm carry the Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP) label from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO).

An open U-ditch is easier to maintain than a closed pipe system: sunlight and air keep the water from going stale.
